Larkin Grimm

This is track 2 off of her tour EP, I’m not sure what it’s called; however, she introduced it at the show as how one deals with one’s inner child during sex. It’s fantastic, please listen.

Larkin Grimm - Parplar

Fantastic folk for Vinyl Sunday, in honor of the Mountain Goats show on Friday, because she opened.
I’ll post one of her songs here in a few.

So this song is about a marriage, it’s a marriage that probably had some love in the beginning, but now they’re stuck and they can’t stand each other. Things never get better and never change, there’s always this misery, and when people ask why they don’t just separate, the response is, “Well, the drinking’s good.

If every actor were like Mr. Law, signed performances for the hard of hearing would be unnecessary.

The Hold Steady - Constructive Summer

This song gives me goosebumps every time.  It is the embodiment of hope, positivity, and catharsis.

That’s right, people are giving out copies of the Origin of Species on campus that feature this handy introduction - one which cites nothing but the bible and the internet as sources and which tells me Buddhists don’t believe in a god, so how could their ideas possibly solve the reality of hell and the problem of sinning against god?

When are they gonna have a “super-like” button

I think it’s the same as the reblog button. Maybe not.
